Ministry Position: Prayer Plan Team Lead
Reports To: Weekend to Remember Director. If none, then FamilyLife Ministry Representative
Purpose: To win people to Christ, and to heal and strengthen marriages and families, by providing leadership in the area of intercessory prayer for all FamilyLife outreach efforts within a local geographic area.
Positional Category: Volunteer
Time Commitment: Varies depending on season, market, size of team, and number of events. In general, the Prayer Plan Team Lead invests 1-2 hours per week in summer and 2-4 hours per week the rest of the year. There are increased time requirements for occasional team meetings, and for activities immediately preceding and following the Weekend to Remember.
Length of Commitment: Minimum one year commitment with a 90-day placement review

Additional Qualifications:
- Must have served on a local FamilyLife volunteer team for at least one full event cycle
- Must be an active group coordinator
- Proven history of faithful intercessory prayer
- Proven track record of demonstrated leadership skills
- Proven history of effectiveness and faithfulness in ministry
- Possess a basic working knowledge of the internet, email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Weekend to Remember Director and the FamilyLife Ministry Rep in growing a local volunteer prayer team
- Lead team prayer events throughout the year, including onsite during the local Weekend to Remember
- Disseminate an ongoing prayer calendar to provide general prayer coverage of local volunteer team activities and objectives
- Collect and manage team prayer requests, praises, and answers to prayer, and disseminate to the local prayer team, in accordance with the FamilyLife Prayer Request Dissemination Policy
- Connect with local area prayer networks for mutual prayer support
- Attend and participate in Area Team meetings
Required training
- Be familiar with the two Weekend to Remember Prayer Guides, the FamilyLife Prayer Request Dissemination Policy, and the Weekend to Remember Prayer Room Policy.
