Reaching Military Families With The Gospel

Connects with military bases, chaplains, military-friendly churches, and others, to reach military families with the gospel, through FamilyLife events and resources.
To win people to Christ and to heal and strengthen marriages and families, by developing relationships with military bases, chaplains, military-friendly churches, and others, and to reach military families with the gospel, through FamilyLife events and resources.
1-2 hours per week, minimum.
- Must be an active group coordinator.
- Possess a basic working knowledge of the Internet, email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Military experience is helpful, but not required.
- Walk with Christ.
- By God’s grace, model godly family relationships.
- Pray for the team, for FamilyLife leadership, and for effective completion of this ministry.
- Attend and participate in area team meetings.
- Develop and maintain a database of local military contacts.
- Maintain a current Military Resource “Kit,” which includes military-focused FamilyLife and Cru Military resources.
- Lead the local volunteer team in reaching out to area military with invitations to FamilyLife events such as the Weekend to Remember and Art of Marriage™events.
- Serve as the military host onsite during the local Weekend to Remember.
- Become familiar with military-focused FamilyLife and Cru Military resources.
