To win people to Christ and to heal and strengthen marriages and families, by (1) inviting men and women to serve as group coordinators, and (2) coaching assigned group coordinators to fruitfulness in ministry.
1-2 hours per week.
- Must be an active group coordinator.
- Possess a good working knowledge of the internet, email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to invite people to participate in ministry, either over the phone or in person.
- Consistent walk with Christ.
- Model godly family relationships.
- Pray for the team, for FamilyLife® leadership, and for effective completion of this ministry.
- Attend and participate in area team meetings.
- Contact an assigned list of men and women who have expressed interest in the Weekend to Remember® group invitation plan, and invite them to participate in the plan by renewing or creating a unique group name. This primarily consists of phone conversations, but some team members may choose to make personal visits as well.
- In the four months leading up to the Weekend to Remember®, contact an assigned list of 6
- Document ministry conversations in FamilyLife’s online system.
- Participate in team ministry efforts onsite during the Weekend to Remember®: join in intercessory prayer in the prayer room. connect with guests to answer questions, invite guests to consider being homebuilders, and invite them to explore opportunities with the local volunteer team.
- Read through the most recent Weekend to Remember® brochure.
- Familiarize yourself with the Weekend to Remember® Group Coordinator website, especially all of the invitational resources and videos available.
- Familiarize yourself with the online guest registration process.
