There are three major benefits in creating a group name:
- You can bring help and hope to a hurting couple.
- You can save your friends and family money. Couples who register by using your group name receive $100 OFF a couple’s registration. (Couples do not have to attend together in a “group” or even attend the same Weekend to Remember in order to use your group name and receive the discount.)
- You can save yourselves money. For every five couples who register at any paid rate (excluding scholarships) using your group name, you receive a complimentary couple’s registration. You can use it for yourselves or pass it along to another couple.
No, the couple requesting a group name is responsible for going online and activating their own group name. They will be asked to provide their information as well as acknowledge a good faith statement to join with us as a group partner.
Your group name confirmation email was sent to the email address you provided when completing the form used to request the name. Please check your junk mail and spam mail folders, as it may have been sent there. You can avoid this by adding www.familylife.com to your accepted domains / safe senders list.
To receive the group registration rate, couples must be registered at least ONE day in advance of the getaway weekend they plan to attend.
There are two easy ways for your friends to register using your group name:
- Online by entering your Group Name on the registration page during checkout.
- By calling 1-800-FL-TODAY (358-6329) and mentioning your Group Name.
Tell them to be sure to provide your Group Name regardless of how they register so they will be added to your “group.”
There is no need to collect registrations. Your guests should be encouraged to register themselves using your group name.
If you choose to collect registrations for your group, be aware that holding registrations could cause your group to be unable to attend in the event of a sellout. Instead, call or mail in registrations immediately—as you get them—to ensure that seats are reserved.
There is no minimum number of people required. Your “group” exists as soon as you establish a group name. Those registering using your group name at least ONE day in advance of a getaway weekend start date will get the group registration rate. Those registering with your group name the day of an event will pay the regular registration rate, but they still count toward your group total and can help you earn a complimentary couple’s registration. Couples can attend ANY Weekend to Remember throughout the U.S. using your group name and you still get credit towards your 5 free couple’s registrations.
As the Group Coordinator, you must call 1-800-FLTODAY (358-6329) and register the other couple once the complimentary couple’s registration has been earned.
Yes, but you will need to renew your group name again. We will re-issue your same group name, and all of those in your group will count as part of your group. Call 1-800-FLTODAY (358-6329) to renew your group.
YES, Active, guard and reserve military can use your group name when paying the military rate, and you still receive full credit towards your free couples’ registration. The one-day-in-advance deadline does not apply to military couples.
We offer full-time and/or senior pastoral staff (including bi-vocational pastors) special registration rates. For current details, visit the Pastors page. Pastor registrations do not count towards your free couples’ registration.
Yes, we offer scholarship assistance. However, the couple requesting the scholarship is responsible for calling 1-800-FL-TODAY (358-6329) to determine if they meet all scholarship qualifications.
